Fixing YouTube Studio Something went wrong error when changing AdSense 2026
Answer:
Clearing this error usually starts with a cache clear or an Incognito window, since it's often caused by session conflicts or an expired auth token rather than anything wrong with your account. Make sure you're logged in as the channel's primary owner and that no other Google accounts are active in the same browser session.
If it keeps happening, verify your AdSense payment profile is fully filled out with your legal name and address matching exactly — even a small mismatch can trigger an automatic block mid-process. Browser extensions like ad blockers are also worth checking, since they can interfere with the redirect script.
If Change Association itself is missing or greyed out, that's likely the standard 32-day cooldown after a recent change rather than this specific error.
