Paying With Crypto on an Account Marketplace: Networks, TX Hashes and Costly Mistakes

Quick answer: choose the coin and the network the marketplace tells you to use, copy the wallet address exactly, send a small test amount if the amount is large, then submit the transaction hash (TX hash) so the team can verify your payment. A wrong network or a wrong address usually cannot be reversed.

Coins, Networks and Addresses

A coin is the asset you send (for example USDT or ETH). A network is the blockchain it travels on (for example BEP20, ERC20 or another chain). The same coin can exist on several networks, and each network has its own address format, fees and speed. A deposit address on one network will not receive funds sent through a different one, even if the address looks valid.

The coins and networks a marketplace accepts are set by the platform and can change, so always use the options shown on the current deposit form instead of an older message or screenshot.

How a Deposit Works on RizSwap

  1. Open the balance page and choose the Deposit tab.
  2. Select the coin and the network. The deposit address for that exact combination is shown.
  3. Send the funds from your wallet or exchange to that address.
  4. Copy the TX hash (or the explorer link) from your wallet and paste it into the form together with the amount.
  5. The team verifies the transaction on the blockchain and confirms the deposit. Until then it is pending.

The form currently accepts a minimum deposit of $1, requires a TX hash and checks its format. Each hash can be submitted only once, and an account can have up to five deposits awaiting confirmation at the same time.

What Is a TX Hash and Why Does It Matter?

A transaction hash is the unique ID of your payment on the blockchain. It lets anyone check the sender, the receiver, the amount, the coin and the number of confirmations. Without it, the platform cannot match a transfer to your account. Keep it with your records; see what records to keep.

Mistakes That Cost People Money

  • Wrong network. Sending USDT on one network to an address for another is the most common loss. Match coin and network to the form.
  • Copying the address by hand. Always copy and paste, then check the first and last characters.
  • Forgetting exchange withdrawal fees. If the exchange deducts a fee, the amount that arrives will be lower than you intended. Check the received amount, not just the sent amount.
  • Sending from a wallet you do not control, such as a friend's account, which complicates verification.
  • Paying a seller directly "to save the fee." That removes escrow protection. Read how to avoid scams and why marketplaces beat direct payments.
  • Trusting messages from impersonators. Deals should happen only inside the official flow. RizSwap's escrow page states it never arranges deals or accepts payment through email, WhatsApp or Telegram.

Safety Habits

  • Test with a small amount first when the payment is large.
  • Check the network fee and the network speed before you send.
  • Take a screenshot of the deposit address and the confirmation, and save the TX hash.
  • Keep your balance low in any marketplace wallet; withdraw what you do not need; see how withdrawals work.

Crypto and Escrow Together

RizSwap's escrow accepts crypto and bank transfer for funding deals. Whatever you use, the payment is held and released only after you confirm access. Learn the fees in escrow fees explained and the timing in how long escrow takes.

Frequently Asked Questions

What if I sent funds to the wrong network?

Contact support immediately with your TX hash and details. Recovery is not guaranteed and often impossible, so prevention is the real protection.

Why is my deposit still pending?

Deposits are checked manually against the blockchain. Make sure the hash is correct and has enough network confirmations, then contact support if it is still pending after a reasonable time.

Can I use any coin?

Only the coins and networks listed on the form. If your coin is not listed, convert it on an exchange first.
